I just went thru this with my 135. I found a solution for installing the tank that worked out great for me. I used different nuts on the bolts that hold the front of the gas tank down. The nuts I used are much longer than a regular nut. They are so long that when barely installed (only a few threads engaged) they hold the bolts up so the tank will slide on. Once the tank is on, the long nuts are much easier to find with your wrench for tightening. I used a ratcheting wrench to tighten with.
