hello i am mew to this sight so i might not be doing it right but anayway i have a shultz mf 18 and am looking for parts for the gear box or a complete gear box new or used any help is thankful

i do not have serial # dut i have the parts list and on the front page it has model 2120--2120-1--2120--2and 2120-3 it is pto driven it is on right side of spreader i would like to get anorther complete gear box
 
i do not have the seriel # but i have the original parts list from l h shultz manufacturing co. and on the front cover it has models 2120--2120-1--2120-2 and 2120-3 mine is a single axle no top beater gear on right side pto driven and it is a spreadmasterthe boxx is totally worn out
 
I have one of those spreaders. I have (luckily) never had to work on the gear box. I have seen several MF and Schultz spreaders for sale.
They sell fairly cheap, especially if the wood is shot and the tires are bad. They made a tandem wheel model that had the same gear box.
Sorry that I have no info on parts. I suggest you google it on craigs list for a scrap parts unit.
 
I saw this ad on Craigslist. It looks like an old MF spreader in the background. May be worth a call to find out.

hello again i am still looking for worm and worm gear for my manure spreader which is a Shultzs model 2120 the Massey Ferguson MF 16,18,and 20 also have the same gear box my machine is PTO driven i am willing to purchase the complete gear box or a salvage machine or just the gears the part #s are Shultz numbers worm 25412-1 worm gear 25785 and the Massey #s are worm 1 019 947 M1 worm gear 1 019 959 M1 any help on this matter would just make my day please respond with any info you might be able to share
