Continental F124

I have an MH 101 jr with a Continental F124. I'm doing some work on the engine but I am not sure about removing the distributor. Do I just unscrew the bolts and pull it out or does more care need to be taken? This will be my first attempt at removing a distributor from an engine. Any details and tip on the removal are greatly appreciated!

First remove the cap and see witch way the rotor is pointing, remove the one nut or bolt at the base of the distributor and it will lift right off. There is a driveshaft under there with a slot that is off center so the dist. will only fit back on with the rotor in the same position. If you are removing the head just pull the driveshaft right up and out, it drives from the oil pump down below. Really nothing to screw up.
