Battery for Massey 150

I just aqcuired a Massy 150 tractor. The battery needs replacing and the local auto parts store recommended a group 24. Is this the correct size?

I just measure the battery box and buy the biggest battery that will fit in it.

If it is a gas tractor, a good group 24 should be fine. If it is a diesel you will want something with more kick. The 165 diesel uses a 30H battery. Not sure about a 150 diesel with 3/4 of a 165 engine.

It is a diesel engine and I would like as much kick as I can get. I guess I'll try a group 30H and see if it fits.
The tractor has been sitting for about 3 years. Any particular items of concern before trying to get it running. I assume the fuel system would be a potential problem.
