Hello everyone!

After finally getting the alternator wired up and having it probably charge the battery and output 14.5v~ when needed. I am trying to hookup something as simple as the voltmeter. My question is if with a multimeter I have 14.5v~ on the back of the voltmeter betwen + and -, my gauge pins out at 16v. Am I fair to say that gauge is bad?

Another question, I have removed the fuel sending unit to check for the Ohms value for full and empty and do not get a reading, is it fair to say the full sending unit resistor is shot?

Thanks for any possible answers!

I have a volt meter on my 205 that does the same thing. Been that way since I put It on. Just notice where the needle is when the tractor is
off and when you start it the needle should move up if the alternator is charging.
