I have an MF 98 that is missing the serial plate, and number. The serial number on the Detroit diesel engine is stamped into the block, so I have it. Does anyone know if there is a way to cross-reference the engine to the tractor serial number? Would like to get serial on this tractor and then get a plate made up for it. I know it is kind of complicated because Oliver was the actual manufacturer of the 98. Thanks!
