MF 65 with 190 Perkins

Was given a 1960-61 high arch 65 with the indirect injection 190 engine. Power steering, 6 speed, stored inside, rolls over by hand, 2 stage clutch, and all there. Any thoughts or advice? Is there much difference in the 2 engines?.....Ron

The A4.192 had a 3.5 inch bore, A4.203 had 3.6 inch bore. Both had 5 inch stroke.

Dieseltech, tractor ran and was parked there to repair the final drive, probably 10 years ago. Farm was sold so I got the tractor on 3 wheels. It has a CAV pump I think. Could any thing seize in there? Thanks......Ron

Yup, sitting that long I'd be surprised if the engine will run. I repair several pumps each month with stuck plungers and valves from setting with stale fuel.

Not start as in plungers gummed up or not start as in pooched pump? It is a CAV pump. Up here problem is most shops charge minimum a grand no matter what is wrong. Thanks again for information......Ron

Pumps with stuck internal parts I can clean, repair, test and return in 350/450 range IF the hydraulic head and cam ring are good..
