MF35 Gas oil pan removal

I have an MF 35 Utility with a z134 continental. I’m going to drop the oil pan because the previous owner was not up to date on oil changes and I am pretty sure there is 15 lbs of sludge hiding in the pan. I am planning on placing a jack under the bell housing and jacking it up until the the front tires come off, then lower it so that they are supporting just a little bit of weight. I’m concerned about warping or cracking the block since the oil pan is a structural member of the tractor. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

PS: it has a front loader if that makes a difference.

No support needed at all. Just remove the front lower horizontal pan bolts, then LOOSEN the front horizontal block bolts one turn each until you see a gap at oil pan front bolt area. Then pan will come straight down after all other bolts are removed. How I was taught at the MF dealer I worked for years ago.
When going back up snug the REAR horizontal bolts first slightly to seat the rear of pan before all the pan bolts are tightened..

Sounds great, I might need to save your contact info Since you worked for an MF dealer, I’m having a heck of a time finding info for my power steering.
