Whats causing this (pic inside)

I have a leak from the upper steering shaft. I can wipe it off & let it sit over night & it will leak. It will leak even if the tractor is not started. Its a MF35

My best guess is that oil is climbing shaft by capilary action. Thicker oil
should cure it. IMO it's nothing to fret over.

This would be a stretch but find the vent and give it a twist that will clean
out the vent. I have know idea where it is, but it has to have one in the top of
the transmission case.

That was my exact thought but I cant find a vent
