Restoring Massey Ferguson 245

Hey All! I am new to the forums and new to restoring tractors. When I was a kid I did help my dad restore a few old motorcycles but that is the extent of my experience in restoration. I recently purchased a Massey Ferguson 245. I went with this tractor because my late grandfather had a MF 240 and I was always impressed by that tractor. The 245 I purchased is mechanically sound. No major issues that I know of. It has a trip bucket on it. I believe it is a MF Model Number 23 trip bucket. I am looking for resources on restoring a Massey Ferguson 245 or similar tractor. There is some rust on the loader, and some of the rods on the loader are slightly bent and may need to be replaced. Can anyone point me to resources on restoring something similar, whether it be this forum, youtube, or a website.
Thanks in advance!

Matt

Might not fit into your restoration but I would be putting a hydraulic cylinder on the bucket and get rid of the trip. A disaster waiting to
happen in my opinion.

I am looking into that right now. I guess restoration might not be the right word. My first priority is that it be in working order as I use it on our farm. Any idea how much converting the trip bucket to a full hydraulic system would run and if so can it be done on this tractor? I am going to attempt to upload some pictures, one of which is my late grandfather on his Massey Ferguson.

Thanks,

Matt
