I was trying to find out the approximate year of my Pony, but I don't have the serial number (the plate is missing).
So, I searched by engine number and lo and behold, I found out that I have a Pacer (engine # Y91 G44132).
But, now I'm wondering if it really is a Pony. (Long ago, a knowledgeable tractor guy told me he thought it was a Pony only because it looked like a Pony? Maybe if he had checked the engine # or knew more about Pacers he would've called it a Pacer?). But, still, maybe, somewhere along the way a Pacer engine was installed.
So, my questions are: Are the two engines interchangeable? Could a Y91 Pacer engine be installed in a Pony?
