Hi all. My neighbour has a Massey Ferguson 35 diesel and the hydraulics for the loader are responding very slowly lately. He did some research and told me theres a oil pick up that could be plugged. He said that all the oil in the differential and transmission is also for the hydraulics. He gave me an I T shop service manual that covers all MF Tractors. It is not really a comprehensive service manual for his machine specifically so I had a few questions.
Do the hydraulics use the same oil as the transmission and differential? There is a drain plug for the differential and another drain plug for the transmission. There appears to be fill plugs for both.
If there is a hydraulic suction pick up where might it be and how do you access it?
I would expect theres a hydraulic filter possibly its plugged up. Where might it be?
I took a few photos and I can load them later when Im in Wi-Fi coverage.
Thank you in advance for any answers
