TO30 brake shaft and rod bent?

The left brake shaft and brake rod on my old tractor have been bent since I got it. Have the axle out to replace inner oil seal so I can also address this issue. I assume that these items should be straight, but before straightening them I wanted to check on the forum to make sure that is correct.

Adding a pic, hopefully.

Straighten the rod and clean up the threads on the adjustment turnbuckle end. Putting anti-seize on the threads assures it moving in for future adjustment.

Thanks. All set on both rod and shaft.
