MF 35 Starter help

I have a MF 35 backhoe with the gas engine and it needs a new starter. I took the old one off and it has the the following number Delco Remy 1107872 3H 29.

I can find one online with the 1107872 number but not the 3H 29. It looks smaller in overall size than my original. Will it work?

1107872 is the Delco Remy part number for the starter. 3H 29 is a date code for when that starter was built. There are many different dates 1107872 starters were built, so don't worry about the date.
 
Thanks for help but I need more! I took off old starter tested and
ordered a new one. When I got the new starter it bolted right on but
on my old starter I had a place for battery cable but also a post
labeled S and one labeled R. My new starter had a place for battery
cable and just a post for S. How do I wire the new starter? Any help
would be great.
