1973 MF 165 Wiring Harness Trouble

Hello all!
First time poster here and new to the forum. Well, I have to replace the wiring in a 1973 MF 165 diesel.
I truly dont exactly know where to begin. Are there any photos or videos out there which show me how to build my own wiring harness? Im sure the technical wiring diagram would help me, if I knew how to read wiring diagram.
Its a real birds nest under the dash. Lots of different folks have been in the kitchen tinkering on this one.
I suppose I could start from the alternator, sensors and Lights work my way back toward the bird nest. I am a little nervous about free lancing without some points of reference.
Heck, I would drive an hour or so just to look at another example and take my own phots and video. You guys got any ideas ?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

From working on some other Massey Ferguson models, I found some Massey wiring diagrams are in the Operator's Manuals, not the service manuals as one would expect. If no one comes forward with one for you, you might try calling customer service at AGCO Publications. They should be able to tell you for certain which manual you need to get the schematics, so you don't buy one that doesn't have what you need.

This is from a 175 operator's manual. It may be of help.
