Whats it worth

Might have a crack at purchasing what I believe is a 1937 F12. New Rubber and all there. Maintainance book laying on the seat and paperwork talking about installing electric starter. Looks pretty good and appears to have been kept inside all its life. Could possibly be original paint. What might this thing be worth so I can make a good informed offer. Thanks

Not a lot. No one wants them and most all people who used
them are dead. I’ve seen nice one go for 700.

If I were you, I'd ask for a good informed asking price. Sounds like the seller "hasn't a clue what it's worth" right? If so, then how could he possibly determine if an offer was good or not? Of course he knows what he thinks it's worth, whether it is sensible or not is another thing. A silly game they play, I'd tell him to state and asking price and go from there. Just my two cents ...
