What engine oil should I use straight 30 weight or 10w 30. In the oil bath air filter do I just wash the mesh out in gasoline then fill to the line with what weight of oil same as engine. Thanks.

I use straight 30 in both engine and air cleaner cup, but then I only run it in summer parades and shows!!!!

If just using it for light chores or pleasure, anything from 10-30 to 15-40 should be fine. Me personally, I use 15-40 in every tractor engine I have. Keeps it simple, gas, diesel, all get the same oil. Have done so for years, no issues at all.

I run 15W-40 Delvac in everything.
