Don't know what the C, or O would be after the serial number, but the CL indicates Chrome Liners. I'm currently working on a 1961 MF35 with a engine serial number CL 1869465 (it's the original engine to the tractor). The CL 1933076 serial would seem to indicate that your engine is not original to the tractor. What kind of info do you need to know about your engine.

Re: Need assistance identifying a MF35 and Perkins engine. in reply to ptfarmer, 05-22-2020 19:33:53
Apologies for my delay in responding. I wanted to know the year of manufacture for the Perkins engine and any other info that I would need to properly maintain and purchase parts if necessary. I have not found much info about my Perkins engine other than what the MF parts and manuals state. The tag on dash says MF 35, serial no. is SNM 207522. As suggested, I feel my tractor has been somewhat Frankensteined as many of its part numbers do not match what the parts books give. Any suggestions that could help me find and add to what I know about my particular tractor is what Iím looking to find.
