1963 MH50 Multipower Teardown

With the Covid19 crisis I finally have time to teardown a 1963 MH50 Multipower with a davis loader 101, I purchased it for $800, the tractor ran with a new carb but the clutch is done, it won't shift in any gears without grinding a lot.

For me it will be a spare parts tractor for my to35 and a learning experience.

The Massey Harris 50 was only built for the 1956/57 model years and never had Multi-Power. 1963 would be a Massey Ferguson and the hood on yours is definitely MF.

You are right Bob, its a Massey Ferguson 50.

I got further ahead, the tractor is split in 3 parts, and I added pics to the album link. That clutch looks new.

Note to self when removing tranny, you need more space to get it out of the rear housing, I had fun moving my jackstands and supports another 6in back.
