New here but have a good bit of experience.
Dieseltech, would you happen to have access to a manual or know the removal/timing procedure for removing a Delphi injection pump from a 231S? It is leaking fuel from the weep hole on mounting flange.
I can?t find a manual and neither can the Massey dealer

No manual, but CAV DP 200 series pumps on Perkins have a pin locating hole at lower 6 O'clock position on the front housing pilot area. With the front cover removed over the pump drive gear turn engine until the hub cutout notch is over the hole, I use a 5/16 drill bit CHUCK END FIRST to locate the hub notch, turn engine slowly as needed until bit enters the hole. Remove/replace pump in this spot, and DON'T turn engine while pump is off. Also, DO NOT REMOVE THE PUMP HUB FROM PUMP!! It MUST stay on pump, just remove the gear bolts as needed. Pump hub is NOT keyed for correct location. I have the tools and seals to remove/replace the hub and seals. Drive seals are the weak point of that pump..

I assume CAV DP 200 series is a Delphi pump? Just want to confirm before I dig into it. Where are you located? And how much would you reseal pump for? Could you send me your phone number to [email protected]?
I?m a cat mechanic so I should know a Perkins better than I do but I?m used to working on the bigger stuff.
