I am going over the electrical system on my 175, and replacing existing wire/adding missing wire. I see the 100 series used the two wires jacketed inside a gray sleeve. I am wanting to keep the tractor as OEM as possible, and have been looking for the wire that most closely matches the original. I have seen that trailer wire comes in grays, like the one linked below.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a wire that matches OEM?

The 100's used 16 ga wire according to the wiring diagram. This is gray and 16 ga but not flat. Apparently it only comes in 100 ft rolls. Might be worth looking at.

I have ordered several different types of wire from them that is not locally available with good service and prompt shipment.
 
I'm wondering why the focus on OEM wire? Hopefully you're not thinking that the tractor value will be better if and when you decide to sell it? What are the chances of some potential buyer even recognizing the wiring isn't OEM?
 
The OEM has the gray jacket that matches Massey gray. When I fix stuff on equipment I own I like to keep the original manufacturer intended look. I'm a believer that its the little details that make equipment look good, but to each his own.

I wound up finding the gray jacketed trailer wire at Ag Supply by the foot. Color matches the Massey gray really well.

I like the way you think! For some of us we will be dead when our stuff is sold so that plays zero role in why we want our repairs to be a certain way. Also nothing wrong with those that just need the machine working again and the electrons don t know or care what color the insulation is even if they are all the same.

Is this cable for the tractor lights?
