TO-35 Serial #

What can you tell me about a TO-35 with the serial number SGM 182282, when made, and such. I know it's a standard size, gas engine, dual clutch. Is the PTO going to be live or not? Not familiar with MF so be gentle and kind.

Should be a 1958 year model, the dual clutch gives you live pto. Push the clutch pedal down half ways you can shift the transmission, push the clutch pedal all the way down you can engage, and stop the pto if it's still engaged (you shouldn't need a over run clutch on the pto). If you have the pto running you only need to push the clutch pedal half way down should you need to change gears.

Thanks, that's what I thought, but like I said, not real familiar with MF. I'll learn more as we get it going.

Once you learn them they are really pretty simple tractors that work good.
