Fuel injection pump lines

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I was told that my injection pump might be bad, so I am trying to get it off. All is well except for 2 lines. I unscrewed them all of the way, but no matter what I do they wont come out of the pump. I wiggled and pried one to the point it snapped the steel line and its still in the pump. Any advice would be appreciated. MF40 with a perkins 3cyl and cav type pump. The two top lines on either end. The injector lines came right off

Thank you in advance

I use a small pick to break up the rubber line sleeves, that's why the lines won't pull out. Pumps I repair sometimes come in with those lines still in place as the owner was tired of fighting the lines.

Thank you so much, thats what i figured. Can I ask where you get new ones (Sleeves) and where can i get a new line?

You can make the line from steel brake line, as I repair injection pumps I have the rubber line end sleeves on hand. Just need to know what size is needed.
