mf203 power steering?

hey guys,so i just changed a couple power steering lines on my mf203,and i was wondering,should i just keep the front end off the ground and cycle the steering a hundred times,or is there another way to bleed the lines.thanks,Rock

Hi,you don't even need to do that. Fill the reservoir with oil with the cylinder in the closed position. Start the engine. Watch the oil level as it will probably drop slightly. Work the steering back and forth. Top up the oil if necessary. Your pas should return straight away. Final check on the oil level with the cylinder closed. If you do not have a seperate cylinder make sure you can turn from lock to lock without any overflow.
