New guy here...

I want to replace my hour meter and I know how many hours are on the tractor. Is there an easy way to run up the hours on the new meter so they match the actual hours on the tractor.

When the original hour meter broke I replaced it with another used one. The used one had over 4000k hours on it and my tractor had less than 1500 when it broke. I wrote down the hours so I could keep track.

You can attach the cable with housing to the back of the meter and attach the end to a pistol drill and run it until you get the reading you
want. It may take a while to do it. I'v heard that there were some old timers who could take a speedometer apart and set it at anything they
wanted. That is why mileage on cars is tracked now.
