I found a old post in the forum giving the measurements of the dip stick for the MF34 loader. The post stated that the dipstick was 11 3/4" from the bottom of the breather housing to the full mark. 13 3/4" from the bottom of the breather housing to the "add or low" mark. I am curious what this dipstick is made of so I can see if I can make one. It does not look like a straight shot to the fluid from where the breather / fill hole is and the dipstick needs to be flexible to bend around some metal housing? I just drained the loader hydraulic fluid and filled the loader after I attached a MF52 backhoe which I assume had some fluid in it already since I purchased it off another tractor. I put 7 gallons of fresh hydraulic fluid in and the loader and backhoe seem to be working fine but I have no idea what the current level of hydraulic fluid is.
