I have installed the AllState Ag power steering kit for my 135 and I can?t get the either the pump or ram to work. Everything looks correct but no power steering. I put on the hoses the only way I think you can as fittings only work on certain port. This is the kit from Turkey with useless instructions. When I turn wheel lock to lock I get fluid squirting out the top of pump through a check valve I guess. I can?t get the fluid churning in the pump creating bubbles like you would think it would do either. I don?t know which line is pressure or return on pump (top or bottom). It?s labeled on ram cylinder. What?s wrong?

Hello, go back to square one. Did you fit the gear on the pump shaft or already fitted? Make sure that the key is installed and the nut is tight abd tabbed and tabbed if applicable. Disconnect the hoses from the pump and part fill with oil. Turn the engine over with the stop out. This should tell you which is the pump outlet. This type of cylinder works by moving the mobile ball joint back and forth to activate the hydraulics. Normally the spool mechanism is forward of the ball. In effect the pressure inlet to the ram will probably be the rear port on the cylinder as fitted. Connect this hose only. Attach a temporary hose to the other port. Ensure that the ball joint will move in both directions when pressure is applied to the steering wheel. Place the other end oh the hose in a container. Turn the engine over with the stop out. At the same time turn the steering wheel in one direction only. You may need to do this again to ensure that you have assitance but turn the wheel in the opposite direction. If you are not pumping oil from the pump even after running to prime it there may be a problem with it. What oil are you using? MF UK would recommend ATF but I believe you use tractor universal in the States.
Hope this may helps.
