MS 85-Engine Continental HD 277 HELP!

We are trying to get this tractor running. We can get it started but it wont stay started. The radiator is pressuring up and blowing coolant out of the overflow in mass amounts. (Steady blowout). It has been sitting for over a year. We are just trying to figure out where to even start at. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Those engines were made for gasoline and converted to diesel. the heads would crack and cause the same symptoms.

Did you get this engine fixed? I am currently removing a HD 277 continental from a Massey 88 and replacing it with a Perkins. All parts good except cam shaft and injector pump.
