Grain carts

Just a general question if I may. Have
been watching some very interesting
videos of the US corn harvest on YouTube.
Are the tracks or wheeled carts driven by
the tractor pto or by hydraulic motors?
Clearly a pto shaft is visible to operate
the discharge auger but does it drive the
tracks or wheels? If so how is the speed
calibrated to match the tractor?
Thanks

The carts are simply towed by the tractor, PTO is used for unloading auger only. That's why my brother and other farmers put LARGE tractors on the carts.
The MF 135 tractors we have just ain't big enough..
