Does anyone know of a place that rebuilds starters for this tractor I
have my starter at a rebuild shop right now and they want 500 dollars
to rebuild it

If all else fails....
Wilson has a pretty good reputation for rebuilding starters and generators. Most (or at least a lot of) NAPA stores carry this brand. Normally, you give them the starter/generator and it gets sent back to the the Wilson rebuilder. It might take a few weeks, but you'll get a product that has been thoroughly rebuilt.
If I looked it up properly, it looks like the Wilson number is 91-06-1806.
Do a Google search for Wilson starter.

they must be replacing fields and armature? what was the starter doing? most time they just need bushings and brushes and a cleaning. about 20.00 worth of parts. but if u take it to a rebuild shop they will sock it to you.
