Shopping for an *N replacement. Looking at a 135 diesel with power steering in decent shape. Everything works but the tires a somewhat worn (still
usable). Can anyone tell me what a fair price would be.

Check out tractorhouse website. Go to online auctions/auction results. There you will find what MF 135s have sold for in your area or anywhere in the world. Usually lots of pictures, also.

Well I found one that I think is pretty solid and paid $3200 for it. At some point in its life it's had a rattle can paint job and new decals applied but needs the same again, just for appearance sake. The power steering has a leak somewhere which I will find and correct. Grease fittings show signs of recent use, which is heartening. Before using it I will change the oil and the hydraulic fluid and put grease in all the fittings I can find. It starts easily and doesn't smoke, making me think it is fairly healthy. As far as I can tell everything operates like it should. The rubber is decent but not great and the left front probably has a slow leak. Can one of you MF experts point me in the direction of a users manual or service manual so that I will actually know what I am doing.
