Following on from the previous discussion on this, tracked down to a blockage in the Fuel Tap/strainer assembly head.
On the MF25 this is a short-bowl, under the tank fitting. Original type replacements no longer available and newer types all have different thread fittings. Removed/dismantled assembly and blew through with compressed air, this cleared it. Previously flow into bowl just a drip, now two good streams from the nozzle. Also dismantled and blew through the tank cap, new gauze in strainers and new filter. Should be all good to go ! (Fingers Crossed!)

If you can do it, I'd clean out the tank. Whatever gunk is in there will plug it up again sooner or later.

Hi Bret, Did check that, inside is quite clean, no visible rust or dirt. Did find a stray piece of pipe, about 6" long x about 1/8" dia, no idea where it came from, but assumed courtesy of some previous service effort! Other than that no problems, better than I expected.

I've run into that type of problem many times over he years. When you add fuel some times the wind likes to make a deposit like a leave off a tree etc so tat in tun breaks down and gets into the sediment bowl assembly and causes problems. Had that happen o my Oliver S88 this summer
