Massey 255 aux pump questions

Hi I had to replace the aux pump on my 255 and the drive gears. The pump had locked up and it broke 2 drive gears. So every thing is replaced and put back together as it should new oil and filters. So now I still have no pressure at the remote and I lossen a fitting on the left side where it supposed to come out and all I get from there is air and very little oil spitting out when I move the remote one way or the other. So what am I missing here? Do I need to bleed out the system? If so how? Thanks in advance.

Make sure the RETURN side plate elbow fitting is sealing well, the inlet screen will not send oil as needed IF the return is not correct and letting air into the inlet side of the pump. Also make sure the pump pressure line to the cover is not split, I had that happen on a 265 a couple years back. It would move oil, but coupler pressure was low at 700 PSI.

i opened the top cover and eventually found out that the little 90 degree pipe that go s in under the pump was not the right way as there is a longer side there for it was taking in air. Thank you for the quick reply and the tips.
