Parts, what fits?

So I just got this 1966 MF 135. I looked up all the part numbers on the AGCO site. However when I go to YT parts, Steiner, All States each has a different part number, parts not differentiating between gas, Perkins or Cont. or diesel, etc. Then to make it worse all the MF parts numbers don't cross.
Am I the only one with this problem or what? Just want a place to order parts nice and easy. I own two Fords and never had this problem! Is there a parts book, cross reference, online?
Finally the tractor had an alternator conversion with a tach take off on the rear, but no cable. Any suggestions to finding the proper cable?

Differing part numbers may depend on whether you have an English or North American build?
Can you post your tractor serial number....that will tell us lots about your tractor, and help you get the correct parts for your machine.
I'm unable to help with info on the tach cable as we don't have this type of alternator in Oz, maybe a fellow YT member can help you there.

What I'm looking for is the key switch, neutral switch and cover, choke rod, transmission hsg. gasket, tach cable and the pipe from the carb to the air cleaner. Should be the Z134 Continental engine? I'm in the US. Thanks
