I have a 1956 Massey Harris 50. It came to me with 13.6-28 tires on 12" wide power adjust / spin out wheels. It has new tires on it in this size.
I've been looking for a long time for a good set of rear wheel weights and recently came across an old MF35 that I am fixing up to sell. It has a full set of inner and outer weights on the rear but they are 12.4-28 tires on 11" wide 6-loop rims.
My question is can I swap the two sets of tires and use the 13.6 tires on the 11" rims, and use the 12.4 tires on the 12" rim (mounting the 12.4 tires on the 12" spinout rims and putting them on the tractor I am selling?
Any advice is appreciated.
Of note is that the weights on this MF35 are an entire cast center weight with another weight bolted on the outside, so its not as easy as just swapping weights.
