MF35 Overload Stop

Refurbishing the draft control assembly on the MF35. All good so far. The last issue is removing the overload stop as it has mated to the bore. Do I need to replace it? The only non destructive way I can see to remove it is to pull the lid and punch it out from the inside. Am I correct in thinking MF has a hole in the casting to enable this? If there is a hole in the casting I would assume the overload stop is present as I cannot see into the interior of the casting from the draft control bore. Any and all help appreciated.

The component you are referring to....is it In any of these pictures?

I had to remove my MF 35 lift cover to replace the PISTON and RING..

I'm interested in knowing the area you are working on....I may be in there again ....

Thanks

Bob Your last picture shows the area in question - the rear of the housing where the draft control rod enters the draft control piston area - you can see the hole thru the casting where the overload stop abuts. As I can't see this hole from the inside of the draft control chamber I'll assume the overload stop disc is in place. I think I'll just let it be. Much thanks. Cooper
