MF 165 FEL not operating but TPL works fine.

Hi the other issue I have with one of the 165's is:

The 3 point linkage is working fine but when I use the selector valve to switch to the FEL nothing happens.

I have taken the valve off and can blow through both ports, when I change position of valve slide it blocks off one or the other port however when I operate it, on the tractor, no oil comes out of the port to feed the FEL control valves.

Any insight to this one would be greatly appreciated.

Are you placing the position lever in CONSTANT PUMPING position for auxiliary use? Remember, the three point INTERNAL linkage turns the pump OFF again when the arms are up. Constant pumping position turns it back on again for auxiliary use ONLY..

X2 what dieseltech said - and remember to take it back out of constant pumping before you switch back to 3pt ! Jim
