looking for MF TO35 power steering

Hello from Canada
I just recently bought a 1962 MF TO35 without power steering, it's almost impossible to steer that thing, anyone have power steering parts for it? Or know of someone who has them? I've looked everywhere!! I can find pumps but I need the steering column.
Thanks

(quoted from post at 05:19:40 05/27/19) Your best bet is to find a donor tractor. Your manual should suffice unless your tractor has a loader.

Yes it has a front end loader, and radial automotive tires in the front.

I have a 202 that has power steering. The main components are the pump, the steering housing / internals and hydraulic cylinders at each wheel. It is part mechanical and part hydraulic which assists. I guess it added 25% to 50% assistance. I tried to keep mine original however new replacement parts did not fit or work correctly and after a lot of effort am in the process of converting to an orbital setup.

If you decided for restoration reasons to have the power steering mirror a factory TO35, then for starters you need a power steering housing all of its guts. You can study it here. http://www.agcopartsbooks.com/partsbooksn/Viewer/
Select model 35 and scroll down for the TO35.

If however you do not care if it mirrors a factory setup and you are creative and capable, consider installing an hydraulic orbital steering valve. It is likely to cost less and provide true power steering (car / truck like). Depending on front loader pump, it is possible that it is capable of supplying a valve that controls the flow to the orbital valve which connects to a hydraulic cylinder(s) which will need a mount.

Good luck
Don

Good morning.......there is a "YT" member who has installed an electric steering control system on his T0-35.

I believe he's from Canada...........

Bob...

In the archives start looking and you shall find his verbiage...

T0 35 electric Power Steering...

The verbiage in the ARCHIVES as I recall was quite explicit as to the procedure and place of procurement for the SATURN CAR Steering system as well as the location to purchase the electronic BRAINS:

Thanks for the reply, I would like a factory steering housing but they are very hard to come by, only reason I would want that is for a quicker and easier fix but other than that I don't care if it doesn't look factory, all I want is for it to steer easier.

If the loader has downforce you can drop the loader, lift whole front of tractor, turn the wheels and move loader back up, then be on your way without effort.

Also you can add more counterweight at the back, get loaded tires. I have the same tractor and an extra 200 pounds makes a big difference, hence the big rock at the back :D
One of the kids hanging at the back works too. Just kidding

Haha nice, I had a snowblower on the back of mine and even then it steered hard, I took just the bucket off and still super hard to turn, so I jacked up the front end but then it was super easy, I thought maybe it was just rusted.
