Did Massey ever make a high crop 50 model

They were made in utility, and row crop, 28 and 38 inch rear rim size respectively. Never saw a high crop model.

I had a MHF 50 High Crop. Both have 38 in tires. High Crop has wide front while Row Crop has the narrow front. Only difference. Don't know for sure after they became MF 50.

The row crop could have one of three front ends, single wheel, dual tricycle, or wide front. There is no high crop listed in the parts book. Any make/model of a high crop tractor I've ever seen use a drop box at the rear axles to get the tractors much higher. The MH 44 high crop is a good example. Never saw a MH or MF 50 high crop.

The online parts book only lists the MF50 as either Low Clearance, or High Clearance.

They are called High Arch. I have one in the back yard. It has 38"rear tires and a wide front end. Mine is also a high altitude version.
