A 44 and a 30 have the same steering set up. I have a Schwartz wide front on a 30, it works good, but you have to use the hubs from a 44 and the wheels. The Schwartz wide front was a conversion kit to convert a narrow front to a wide and will only work with the steering box from a narrow front.Looks to me that you have all the parts needed except the steering box from a narrow front. If you use one from a factory wide front it will steer backwards. The one thing I like about the Schwartz is it keeps the tractor short, fits under the frame like the narrow front, the factory wide front stuck way out front of the frame.
