I'm having big problems replacing the thermostat on my diesel MF-65. The original Smiths England thermostat is stuck in the open position and no longer available for sale. All tractor supply outfits, including this one, recommend the Vapormatic A-1446222M91 as the replacement. However, it doesn't fit due to the outside edge being beveled on top instead of on the bottom. Is anyone aware of a replacement thermostat which is beveled correctly? I can email photos of the old thermostat and the new Vapormatic which will illustrate the problem. [email protected]
