to 35 hydraulics

Sharps

New User
long time lurker - first post.
I have a MF to35 deluxe with hydraulics that are getting weak. The 3-point is jerky when raised and with a rear blade mounted the blade goes to the ground after I shut the tractor off. I was hoping to replace the hydraulic pump but all I can find state that they are for tractors after serial number 179304 and my serial number is 178950. Does anyone know of the difference in hydraulic pumps? Are replacement pumps or rebuild kits available for this serial number range?
Thanks - any help will be appreciated.

The pump could be the problem, but there could be a leak somewhere else in the system. Before you tear the tractor apart, suggest you remove the round cover by your right heel, raise the 3pt. hitch with an implement attached, shut the engine off and look thru that hole with a light to see if you can find a leak. Pay special attention to both ends of the standpipe that goes from the pump to the top cover, where the cylinder attaches to the top cover and the back end of the cylinder.

Possibly try this and verify the HYDRAULIC PSI:

I check / verify Hydraulic PSI as per pictures:
