We purchased a Massey Ferguson 35 (utility) that has the auxiliary hydraulic valve on the lift cover plate that is
as actually made into the cover, not bolted on like all others I have seen!! Problem is the 3pt will only operate by
using the auxiliary valve lever not with the side quadrant lever!! No matter what u do with the side quadrant lever
(levers) they have no effect, as if they are not hooked up at all!! The lift functions as it should but only by using
auxiliary valve!!! I tried putting auxiliary valve in detent as manual states but hydraulics build pressure regardless of
(side) quadrant lever (!evers) position!! Any thoughts??? Would like it operate by side levers if possible!!! Any
help ideas be appreciated!!! thank you

Need to see a picture of your valve. If it's the two lever valve the LEFT lever needs to be locked back then the Position control lever should work, Draft needs to be about half way down, if it's too high the Position can't lower the lift arms.

I have a little bit different, but similar, situation. We removed the cap assembly on out lift cover and replaced it with a dual spool auxiliary hydraulic valve. Now, the 3-point does not function.....perhaps this is the same problem?

Thanks,

Maze
