I have a MF 65 that I just rebuilt. As part of the restoration I put in all new gauges including the tach. I had to buy a new alternator with a tach drive. My problem is now the battery drains, when the battery is connected the alternator is a big magnet, and the starter drags or just clicks from the solenoid. Any ideas?
