A different shade of red guy needs help with a 135 Gas

Good friends our family needs help with a MF 135 gas tractor. I drove this tractor when was teenager moving grass with at local golf coarse. In the winter it got used in hockey rink to clean ice. Since it was inside the rink & people in there got made in a propane tractor. Now 25 yrs later, friends have brought it & put back to gasoline. Going use run a snowblower. From info my Dad was told, new carb was put on, supposedly ign system was gone thru. Engine idles fines, no load WOT is also good. Once a load is put on engine it wants to die. Any ideas? I haven’t seen the tractor in a long time, didn’t even know was still around. If was ih I be all over it. Thanks for any help.

My timing was off on my to35 so bad it wouldn't cut grass or pull itself on trailer. Check that and do a compression check.
