Getting ready to tare into my steering shaft again. I put a speedy sleeve and seal kit into it about six months ago and it started leaking out the top of the steering column again. I just wanted to be sure I installed the seal correctly. This seal goes into the cast outer cover on the steering column. The first pic is of the speedy sleeve on the column.
Second pic is of two of the seals side by side. On the left is the concave side of the seal. on the right is the other flat side of the seal. Am I correct in assuming that the flat side of the seal should go into that outer housing so that the flat side is sliding down over the shaft when that outer shaft is installed?
