1973 MF 135 with Perkins ad3.152 Vibration Problem

I was finishing up a 2 hour project and suddenly the Engine started vibrating and some rattling in the upper engine. I removed fan belt to see if problem could be the Harmonic Balancer, water pump or alternator. None of them, the problem. What are the symptoms of a bad injector? This engine always started within 2 seconds. Now it takes 15 - 20 seconds to start.

If there are any suggestions to do any other trouble shooting, sure would appreciate it....... Thx

Bad injector would be the engine missing or putting out blue to white smoke.

Whats the oil pressure like?
It could be the valves in the head, this would leave starting it longer and a vibration and rattle.

I don't think it's bearings. Engine was rebuilt before I bought it and I have less than 300 hours on it. Oil is clear, no sign of metal particles. In my many years of working on gas engines, have dealt with rod and main bearings that went bad. Just doesn't sound like either of them..

What's the sound and motor action if a injector craps out?
 
Injector that's stuck closed engine will have a dead miss on that cylinder, and a GREAT risk of seizing the injection pump hydraulic head. Most injectors that fail stick open, seldom closed.
 

Appreciate your help. Appears that I just have get the hands dirty and dig into the engine. Thanks.....
