MF 50 Clutch Replacement

I haven't been around too many MF's but I am currently working on a MF 50 and upon removing the existing clutch dual clutch (Serial # S6M 537762, 4 cyl. gas engine) I noticed it was covered in oil. Based on the attached photos, where is the oil most likely coming from and how do I go about stopping the leak?

Also, what is the easiest way to tell if the tractor is equipped with a multi-power transmission or not?

What torque do you tighten the flywheel too and what torque do you tighten the pressure plate/clutch too?

Thanks in advance for all of your assistance.

There are a few places the oil could be coming from... but its most likely the oil pan seal that butts up against the flywheel housing.

The oil pan on these tractors serves as a mechanically significant part of the frame. Could have leaked one day when the tractor hit a big bump or was pushing/pulling something heavy from the front end and sealed back up when the stress was over. Or when the tractor was broken in half, depending on how much prying, jacking and otherwise was necessary. If it were a crankshaft seal or transmission seal then it would be significant and you probably wouldnt have to show us a picture and ask.

Also when you put the flywheel back on... find Top dead center on the engine...... and ensure that this reflects the timing marks on the flywheel through the little peep hole on the housing, there are 4 ways to mount the flywheel, 90 degrees apart from each other. Not a huge deal... but you'll be setting initial timing from a different cylinder besides #1 if you don't.

That would be a crankshaft seal leak you have there. Some were rope seals/rubber not sure which yours is yet.
If your keeping the current clutch you will want to clean plate pads as I'm sure they are now soaking in oil.
Might be no harm to replace the spigot shaft bearing and clutch realase bearing
