MF 135 Clutch Pedal Relocation Option(?)

A recent purchase 135 I acquired has the clutch pedal relocated forward and at an angle. The linkage is more complicated. Instead of tromping down on the clutch pedal, it is at an angle where it is more of a push forward - about at a 45-degree angle - more traditional angle than most Ferguson and Ford tractors. I like it very much, but am always about to miss hitting it with my foot because I am accustomed to the traditional MF 35/135 location.
A retired MF mechanic friend of mine says he has seen this option on other 135's and that it is "factory". And it does look "factory" in manufacturing quality and pedal style. I have no doubt it is. But, does anyone know anything else about it? Did this option have a name? Additional cost? Thank you, gents.

Do you have a picture of the pedal, I've never heard of such an option for a 135 here in the US. That setup sounds like the "ergonomic" pedals that came on some of the newer 200 series MF tractors.

I bought a MF-240 and liked it, except I hated the stomp-down clutch pedal. Never got used to it. Discovered a MF-255 in a salvage yard, with a push=forward clutch pedal assembly, that was almost a direct bolt-on fit. Had to do a little welding and etc., but it works perfectly. Highly recommended.

Well, I can try, although I do not know how to post pictures on here. Might take a little time.

Wonder who made it, looks pretty neat.

I would have no idea as to who made it. My buddy says he may have another laying around his private junkyard. I'm going to see if he can dig it up...….

In my 44 years with UK MFs I have never
seen anything like this. Might be easier to
press!!!!! Might not have the bad knee that
I have got now. Looks good enough to be
factory-made by a parts supplier. Narrower
footplate than UK tractors.

Thanks, David. Yes, I have no doubt it is factory made - most likely by an aftermarket accessory supplier. I'm on a quest to find another one for my other 135 tractor. Definitely makes pressing the pedal easier and more comfortable.

(quoted from post at 23:29:26 10/13/18) Could you post the tractor serial number as I'd be interested in the build date & configuration?
Thanks, Evan.

I have never liked press-down
pedals and almost didn't buy my
current 135 because of the press
down pedals. I didn't realize so
many others disliked them, but you
sure got a good sampling of
haters. When I learned to drive as
a kid, I wasn't heavy enough to
brake with press-down pedals but
did great with forward press
pedals.

I started out in summer of 1953 on a 1949 Farmall Cub when I was 7 years old in Laurens County, S.C.. Had to almost get off the seat to reach the pedals. Don't think I could have mashed a "downward" pedal as I would not have had the leg strength.
Five years later (age 12) I was very much at home on a Farmall M. Had a few close calls, but for whatever God's reason, I'm still here.

The pedal assembly if from and american made 235. I installed one on my 135 from a junk 235 so wife could mow grass. Very good decision.
