Need schematic of switch wiring for MF 65 gasoline

Part of my problems were a onewire alternator without a plug, so terminals were exposed and PO wired it like it was regulated. It is a 1959 model, so was it 12 volts originally? They have a resistor wired before the coil. Now I need to sort out the switch wiring.

A 1 wire set up is so easy to wire up that I think most any ne can do it. Tractors only have a few wires and a 1 wire takes 3 out of it. The wire from the alternator goes to the load side of the amp gauge simple as that. Ignition is also as simple as a wire from the amp gauge to the switch to the resister to the coil and your done

I am having a problem, no fire to ign while cranking. I can jump from batt to the resistor and she fires right up. I cannot determine a terminal at the switch to supply voltage to ign while cranking. That is why I wanted a schematic. In other words, the ign terminal of the switch goes dead while engaging starter.

Pretty east to check a switch. Run a jumper across the switch terminals and it is start then you know the switch is bad. If it still does not start then the wire going to the ignition is bad

finally got it figured out today. Had to run a jumper from one terminal that was hot in start position to the ignition terminal so it would have voltage going to ign while in start position. Found my next problem. Brakes that felt fine on level ground won't hold it on my hillsides.
